Cousin Filled Weekend

We had a busy weekend. Starting early Saturday morning, iBaby's aunt KK brought us over breakfast and then we all headed to Costco. Mike ran around (literally) with Saylor so KK and I could gather our purchases. Mike did such a great job, Saylor sat on top of the cart to ride out of the store and was asleep before we got to her grandparents house just a couple miles up the street.

Good thing Saylor got her nap because cousins Brooke and Ryan also came over. I think even iBaby was excited to see everyone (if movement is any indication). Brooke and Ryan may have been a little freaked out by their new cousins movements and politely opted out of feeling them but you could see them look over and watch my shirt move.

In this photo, Saylor crawled up on the sofa with her book in tow and settled in on Ryan's lap.

On Sunday, we had brunch with iBaby's other cousin, Sydney, and the rest of the family. We had Saylor for the morning so the two kids got to meet and seemed to enjoy each others company. They even shared toys (a great sign for iBaby)! After brunch, we headed to the shore.

With the opening of rockfish season just around the corner , we are getting even more excited to launch our boat. It will be a chilly ride back next weekend but at least Mike will have the new GPS to guide him. Several boats on our dock have already arrived and two of our dock mates were at the marina to greet us today. They even made a comment they knew we'd be back because we had such a great time last year.
To make the anticipation even greater, check out the 40" rockfish iBaby's uncle Pete just caught. Should be a great season.
