As Lauren would say..."Uhhh ohhhh!!!"
Is there a problem with the pregnancy? Is the newest Ivey coming two weeks early?
Not exactly. With spring arriving in full this weekend, we went out early Sunday and bought a wagon for Lauren. Lauren is not a big fan of walks with the stroller any more, and ever since we got 3 feet of snow she just wants to be pulled in a sled. So we had a busy Sunday morning, put Lauren down for a nap, assembled the crib and put together the wagon while she was napping and thought we'd take a nice family walk in the afternoon once Lauren woke up.
So at 3:00 Dad, Lauren and the new Radio Flyer are in the driveway waiting, when my 37 week pregnant wife decided she would hit the garage door button, run around the car, duck under the bike hanging from the ceiling, and hop over the invisible beam before the garage door came down. She didn't make it!
So instead of a nice leisurely walk we ended up Sunday in a chaotic rush to the hospital to attend to Susan's dislocated kneecap. Susan is back on the mend now and the doctor made it sound like it should be a lot better by April 5th.
Luckily we had the camera out to get some shots of Lauren in the wagon...so once the medics had things under control, Susan's pain level had dropped, and Lauren's sympathy screaming ended, I could get a couple quick shots.
