Our Little Monkey

Lauren was adorable in her monkey outfit. This was the second halloween, and the first time we went trick or treating. Lauren only went to a couple houses but got plenty of time in her costume as she "helped" hand out candy to all the trick or treaters.

Here is a great shot of her digging through the basket of candy! We later found her trying to eat through a box of nerds. I guess it is worth eating the cardboard to get to the sugar.

3 Days of Work & 2 of Play

So I've been in my part time deal for 2 weeks now and it is great. Last week,
Thursday was our productive day with doctors appointments etc. Lauren is developing well and moving up the growth charts (53rd percentile in height and 29th for weight).
Friday was our fun day. We met up with Kelly and little Evan at the park and had a great time. Lauren even shared her favorite red car with Evan and just sat back to enjoy the ride. At one point, they both decided to climb up the slide and when Lauren got to where she couldn't make it any higher, she would lose her grip and slide down into Evan who didn't seem to mind. Did I mention it didn't seem nearly as crowded as it has been in the past (on weekends)?
I think I can get used to this whole part time thing :)

Cox Farm 2009

I was so excited about Cox Farm this year. We first took Brooke 6 years ago when Ryan was born. Last year was Lauren's first year but at 2 months of age, she didn't get to participate in any of the activities. This year was a whole new experience. She LOVED the slides and bouncing around on the hay ride. We were there from 10:30-3:00 and I don't think she stopped moving the whole time!!!
