All my hope for this election is now going into seeing a repeat of this picture with Denver substituted for Chicago. My current thinking is Hillary needs to win the nomination by getting more of the superdelagates. If Democrats felt like an election was stolen from them in 2000, imagine their anger if Hillary wins the nomination even though she lost the elected delegate count. At that point the Dems could forget about any votes from Obama's supporters. I'm not quite sure about a contested convention where Obama wins, he might be able to unify the party.
Funny how the Canadian government stuck it to Obama on his NAFTA comments...finally getting the media to question the Chosen One. Personally I don't understand why they are even debating NAFTA, it just doesn't seem we are losing many jobs to Mexico or Canada. Canada has lost as many manufacturing jobs as we have, and if we are shipping so many high paying jobs to Mexico then why are so many Mexicans trying to come here for jobs? The country we need to be talking about is red China which really is taking our jobs with no labor standards, no safety standards, gov't subsidized industry, and a completely manipulated currency.
On that note, I am leaving soon to go home and watch the returns (along with the Tech/Wake game) so it should be an exciting evening (except for Susan who is mildly sick of political shows and college bball). Never thought I'd say this, but here's to hoping Clinton wins Texas and Ohio!
