Annual Christmas Tree Hunt

We celebrated Poohbah's birthday Sunday and as part of traditional celebration braved the frigid temperatures in an effort to find the perfect Christmas tree. We bundled Lauren up and drove out to the Snicker's Gap farm with the rest of the family. Although she didn't get any hot cider to keep her warm, she seemed to do pretty well. This was the first year we had little ones with us, as Sydney didn't make it last year. I'm not sure if was the little ones or the fact that it was a windy sub-30 degree day but the hunt was a lot shorter than normal! In fact as I sawed down the tree, Susan and JoJo were already running off to the warmth of the barn, leaving Poohbah and me to haul the trees back. Here are a couple pics of Lauren in her cute pink bear outfit...she doesn't need little ears on the outfit to look cute...but it certainly doesn't hurt. (Thanks to Uncle Chris we got a good photo for the Ivey Family christmas card as well)
