We were out Christmas shopping when Lauren's smile caught our eye. Her usual wide grin now displayed a new sparkle ... her first tooth! She never fussed and since she has been chewing everything in sight and drooling like crazy for so long we were quite surprised by the appearance. We thought maybe she would get the second one for Christmas (you know the song "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth") but Christmas came and went and there is still only one pearly white despite all her chewing and drool. We are pretty sure another one or two are on their way up now....but these teeth aren't as cooperative as she is now obviously in pain sometimes. Thank God for baby Orajel!
