What better Friday night family entertainment than a National's game. It was the first game for Lauren, Brooke and Ryan. Even though the game didn't even start until their bedtime, the kids lasted until the 8th inning!
After getting some $5 tickets in section 402 we spotted a great area where we could all sit as well as park the stroller right at the top of section 107. We inquired into whether the seats were ticketed and were told by the usher "every seat in the stadium is ticketed". Only a $10 tip later and we were all guided to our new seats. It actually worked out better than planned as we had our own little area where Brooke and Ryan could walk around, plenty of room to change Lauren, came within a couple feet of getting a foul ball, and when it started to drizzle in the 6th the usher offered us plastic ponchos.
As evidence of what great time Lauren had at the game, check out the beginning of this video. She smiles a lot but this is the first time we captured it with a video or camera.
