We took a couple trips to Williamsburg this year. Here are some pics from the 2nd trip where it was just the four of us. We stayed at Kingsmill both times, the second time we were on the ground level and could just walk out for
lunches/running around. Much more convenient! (Plus no lugging strollers up a flight of stairs!!!) Great family weekend get away.
Lauren loves EVERY ride at Bush Gardens, the more speed the better. Her favorite was Das Catapult (which she would ride with an ear to ear smile for the entire 2 minutes) in Germany but Elmo's spire was a close second. Caroline, as always, is just happy to be along for the ride and is quite the trooper.
Lauren has seen a couple episodes (or portions) of Sesame Street and has a few Sesame Street books so she recognizes the characters. All weekend she talked about Elmo and Big Bird...and when we finally got up close to meet them it was pure PANIC! She is so excited to see the characters but is frightened to death when she gets up close. You can see the panic here with Elmo and Zoe, imagine how bad it was with Big Bird as we couldn't even snap a picture.
Caroline played along with none of the drama.

Oh my goodness I can't believe Lauren on that big ride!! So cute. Funny, Sydney would probably never get on one of the fast rides, but she'd want to hug and talk to Elmo and Zoe all day.
