What kid doesn't love to find out school is canceled due to snow? I'm not a kid but I was thrilled to find out I had the day off Monday, after having a half day Friday. Lauren on the other hand, well, Lauren appears disappointed. We had 32" of snow (Dulles airport total) and have been stuck in the house for two days. Of course we've made it out to play in the snow a little and Mike drove over Saturday to bring back Karen and Saylor but it isn't the same. As we always say, Lauren is an outdoor cat. She grabbed her jacket this morning and headed to the door repeating "bye bye". Very cute.Problem is she has a hard time walking in the snow in all her snow gear. She loves to ride on the sled but every time we go on a long sled ride she ends up dozing off to sleep. Here is some video from Sunday's trek. We're headed out today for some indoor activity somewhere other than home, maybe Dulles Town Center! Heard we may get 10" more on Wednesday! Crazy!!!
