Spring Carnival

We spent a fun last Saturday at the Reston Children's Center Carnival. Lauren's cousins Sydney and Saylor were able to join us for the outing. Mike and I are behind on our parent hours (RCC is parent owned so each parent needs to volunteer a certain number of hours each year) so we pawned Lauren off on Aunt KK so we could knock off 4 hours working the carnival.
Aunt KK took some photos of Saylor spending some time teaching her little cousin the finer points of how to drive the red and yellow car. With temperatures reaching the low 90's, Saylor got a bit of road rage as you can see in the second photo. Aunt KK decided it was safer to leave Lauren behind the wheel alone and, as you can see, she quite enjoyed it.







Luckily we have a few years before the sight of Lauren behind the wheel is more scary than cute!
