It is hard to believe the summer is already over but what better way to celebrate than with the annual Goodchild crabfest.Thanks to GG and Papere, we arrived via water while Lauren stuck to the road. The weather was perfect and although Lauren didn't get to pick crabs or win any games, she had a great time meeting everyone and watching the festivities while bonding with GG.
It was our first night away from home with Laur
en and although we had a lot more bags and other stuff to lug around than usual, it went rather well. I think River was the only one to lose any sleep as she kept coming downstairs to sniff around and check on the baby before returning upstairs to sleep. Although you wouldn't know it had gone so well from this photo, I thought it was funny. It was taken the following morning and if you can't read Lauren's top, it says "Crying: it gets the job done"
